I was not of the group that bet on the Chiefs to win, as I felt the 49ersoffered better value. I also thought they were the more complete team.

Of course, for as explosive as the Chiefs once again proved they can be,their woeful slow start kept this game from hitting the Over. The top bettingsites still priced this one very evenly, but the books narrowly missed oncalling the Over here.

This is a good spot to give a shout-out to our own Michael Wynn. He not onlypredicted the Kansas City Chiefs as the Super Bowl 54 champs before the seasonstarted, but he alsopicked Patrick Mahomes to win the Super Bowl MVP.

Regardless, he nailed this pick, and it was another favorite by the topfootball sportsbooks.

Mahomes made perfect sense as the top bet to win Super Bowl MVP. However,betting hard on that favorite is often a little easier said than done.

As it turns out, we all should have just bought into the pricing. Mahomesscored three total touchdowns and racked up well over 300 total yards en routeto a hard-earned MVP trophy.

Yep, indeed, he was. This is the NFL commissioner we’re talking about, sothis shouldn’t have blown anyone’s socks off. Regardless, this was probably oneof the better Super Bowl 54 bets going into the big game, as it was listed at apalatable -150.

Goodell was shown at least one time during the broadcast prior to the gameending, making this an easy win. He has routinely been shown during big gamesbefore, so it’s a tad surprising the books didn’t drive the price up here.
